Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 15th, 2026

Estate Divvy LLC ("Estate Divvy," "we," "us," or "our") wants families to feel comfortable trying Estate Divvy when dividing personal property. This Refund Policy explains our money-back guarantee and how to request a refund.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If your estate is not satisfied with the final results generated by Estate Divvy, the estate owner may request a full refund within 14 days of payment.

You do not need to prove that Estate Divvy made an error. If the estate is not satisfied with the result, contact us within the refund window and we will review the request.

The guarantee applies after paid final results are unlocked for an estate. Free estates do not require payment and therefore do not need a refund.

Who May Request a Refund

Refunds should be requested by the estate owner or the person who paid for the estate. We may ask for enough information to identify the account, estate, and payment.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@estatedivvy.com and include:

The account email used for payment, the estate name, the date of payment if available, and a short note that you are requesting a refund.

What the Refund Covers

Approved refunds cover the amount paid to Estate Divvy for that estate. Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe when possible.

The refund does not cover fees, costs, or obligations outside Estate Divvy, including legal fees, appraisal fees, mediation fees, executor fees, moving or storage costs, taxes, bank fees, or disagreements that arise outside the Estate Divvy service.

Timing

We aim to review refund requests within 5 business days. Once a refund is issued, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on Stripe, your card issuer, or your bank.

Abuse and Duplicate Requests

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, duplicative, or outside the 14-day refund window. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

Service Access After a Refund

If a refund is issued, we may limit or remove access to paid final results for that estate while preserving records needed for security, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
